In 2011 after running a shop for a year I did a tour of Cornwall, Devon and Summerset. I fell in love with St. Ives and I ended up spending a week working at the Leach Pottery as a trial run as a production potter. I would get up early in the morning, walk down to the beaches, walk around the town then climb back up the hill in time to start throwing the pottery needed for the day. It’s a magical place but I love living on the coast up North so that’s where I have stayed.
