Views of Preston Sketchbook, A5 art book with acrylic sketches of various parts of Preston unique gift for UCLAN graduate student

The first week of September 2021 I worked as Artist in Residence at Preston Bus Station. The artist in residency position was a partnership with Derelict Art of the City who work out of Preston. In preparation for the project I created 55 A5 drawings around Preston and then selected the best 48 drawings and paintings to make up the book. Each sketch is recreated one to one in this amazing art book.

I completed my Undergraduate degree at the University of Central Lancashire so spent quite a few years in Preston as I learnt my craft. I have an interest in buildings and recreating them in my own playful style of drawing.
